Frank Roettinger, 83, a lifelong resident of Rahway, peacefully passed away on July 26, 2017.
After his service in the U.S. Army. Frank returned home, received his BA from Monmouth College and Masters from Kean Univ. He taught Social Studies in the Asbury Park school system and then went on to become Vice Principal for 40 years at the Bangs Ave. Middle School in Asbury.
Frank was also an avid runner for 40 years, entering in many races throughout N.J. He could be seen running up Inman Ave, on through Clark and home in Rahway. He also helped to maintain a large garden at the MLK Elem. School in Edison, which donated all of its produce to the Hands for Hope Food Pantry.
Frank was predeceased by his sister, Noreen. and is survived by his brother-in-law, Nick, and his long time loving companion and partner, Louise Lippe
