Elizabeth M Bedner

Our beloved Elizabeth Maria Bedner (Kostzyn) died on Wednesday April 18,2018 She was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, 7/3/18 and died at the age of 99.

Surviving are her daughter Jean Knower from Hillsborough, N.J. Grandchildren John Velge, Tampa, Fla, Jason Velge, Tucson, Az., Kristen Patterson, Elizabethtown, Pa., Danielle Zellers, Hillsborough, N. J., David Knower, Ringoes, N. J. her Great Grandchildren, Anthony Zellers, Hillsborough, N.J., Dylan Velge, Tampa, Fl., Jacob Velge, Tampa, Fl., Brielle Patterson, Elizabethton, Pa. and Miranda Velge, Tucson, Az.

Elizabeth was a resident of Colonia for 65 years.  She was preceded by death by her devoted husband John Joseph of 75 years died 5/9/17 and son, John Richard 11/27/17 Anyone who knew her knew how much she loved raising her twin children, being a dedicated wife, tending to her flowers and garden, lover of birds and being a Queen at grooming and weeding her property.  She was a painter of all mediums.  She was an accomplished upholster and seamstress sewer, baker, cooked Hungarian Cuisine and a Martha Stewart of her time.

The secret to a long and happy marriage is “happy wife happy life”.
