Dominick F Piserchia

Dominick Piserchia passed away on Sunday, February 12,2017 at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. Mr. Piserchia was born and raised Newark before moving to Linden, NJ in 1959. Dominick proudly served our country in the Army during WW ll. He was employed as a machinist for American Can Company in Newark and then Westinghouse in Bloomfield for 30 years retiring in 1985

He was predeceased by his granddaughter Christine Schwartz. Surviving are his wife of 72 years Josephine Piserchia, his children Janet Schwartz and her husband Paul and Karen Hnida Colletti and her husband Joseph, his grandchildren Paul and Jennifer Schwartz, Tara and Stacy Schwartz Kilgore, Michele and Michael Fotia and Stephen and Tara Hnida, lll, also 10 great grandchildren.

    Visitation Wednesday, February 15, 2017, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Services   8:45AM Thursday February 16, 2017 at the funeral home followed by a 10:00AM funeral Mass at St John the Apostle Church, Clark. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
