Dominick J. Martino

            Dominick J. Martino, of Iselin died Wednesday at Haven Hospice at the JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 80.

            Born in Newark, he lived in Irvington before moving to Iselin in 1960.

            After graduating Newark High School he served in the US Army during the Korean War.

            He worked as a Driver for the Tastee Bread Company in Newark and Edison for over 40 years before retiring in 1990.

            He was a parishioner of St. Cecelia’s RC Church in Iselin and a proud member of the Italian-American Club of Rahway. He was also a devoted longtime fan of the NY Yankees.

            His wife, Grace C. Martino died in 2003.

             Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Donna Martino Everman Priolo and her husband Frank N. Priolo of Edison; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph S. Martino and his wife Mary T. Finn Martino of Sherman Oaks, California; sister, Elizabeth Netis, formerly of Union; and grandchildren, Michael J. Everman and Madison Martino.

             A Blessing will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Entombment to follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Please obey all traffic laws if driving in this procession. Visitation Friday 3 – 7 PM at the funeral home.
