Danny E Bodeck

Danny E. Bodeck passed away peacefully Tuesday March 21, 2017 at JFK Medical Center, Edison, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Frisack, Germany and resided in Colonia, NJ since 1967.  Danny proudly served our country in the Army and was trained by the United States Army Rangers. He was a machinist for PSE & G Hudson Generating Station in Jersey City for 38 years retiring in 1996.

He was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening, taking walks in the park and will be remembered for his positive attitude and his love of life.

 He was predeceased by his wife Eileen Bodeck (2008), his daughter Kathleen Camarote (2012), and his parents Eberhard and Katherina Bodeck. Surviving are his daughters Carol Witheridge and her husband Allen, Nancy Amato, his son-in-law Danny Camarote and also his grandchildren Christopher, Megan, Emily, Julie and Nicholas.

Visitation Thursday March 23, 2017 from 4:00pm and 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Services Friday 8:30am at the funeral home followed by a 9:30am Mass at St John Vianney RC Church Colonia. Interment will be at St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
