Connie Jersets, of Colonia died Friday, February 27th at the RWJ @ Rahway Hospital. She was 91.
Born in Jersey City, she lived in Bayonne, Kenilworth and Clark before moving to Colonia in 1962.
She was a homemaker. Connie was also a parishioner of St. John Vianney RC Church and a member of the Evergreen Senior Citizens, both in Colonia.
Her husband, Joseph Jersets died in 1982.
Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Randall Jersets of Colonia, and Jeffrey & Helen Jersets of Honolulu, Hawaii; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary & Dan Tarrant of Pennsylvania, Colette Jersets & Joe Liszewski of Colonia, Donna & Mike Zajacz of Colonia and Constance Darginio of Pennsylvania; sister, Vivian Goff of Bayonne; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd at 8:30 AM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass at St. John Vianney RC Church, Colonia. Burial to follow in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2nd from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
