Carmine Anthony Montemarano

           Carmine Anthony Montemarano. Jr. of Edison died Monday, August 31st at home.  He was 40.

           Born in Brooklyn, New York, he has lived in Edison since 1984.

          Carmine attended JP Stevens High School in Edison, playing tight end on the Hawks football team before graduating in 1993.  He then attended Monmouth College where he also played football.

            He worked in communication in Edison for 15 years. He also organized charity Golf Outings called Double Bogey for many years.

            Surviving are his father, Carmine Anthony Montemarano, Sr of Waretown; his mother, Giovina Griffith of Brooklyn; brother, Vincent Palmieri also of Brooklyn; his paternal grandmother, Rosalie Montemarano of Waretown; and nephew, Vincent Palmieri.
