Betty Lou (Decker) Lubrani

Betty Lou Lubrani, of Colonia died Thursday, June 29th at her son’s home in Bayville.  She was 78. Born and raised, in Union, NJ before moving to Colonia, NJ in the mid-1960s. She worked as an Insurance Clerk for several firms before retiring from Donald Lapenta Insurance in Westfield.

Betty Lou was a parishioner of the First Presbyterian Church of Iselin and sang in the church choir.  She loved playing cards, Bridge and Maj Jong and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Her husband, Daniel Lubrani died in 1980.  She was also predeceased by her brother, Robert Decker; and her sister, Joan DeckerSurviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Michael D. Lubrani of Kona, Hawaii, and James & Heidi Lubrani of Bayville; and 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, Katelyn, Mack and Juliette.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5th from 4-8 PM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6th at 10:00AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Iselin.  All to meet at the church.  Burial to follow in Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery, Union.
