Bertha Ann (Mishkalunos) Yanulis, age 88, passed away March 24, 2017 in Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison, NJ. She was a resident of Brighton Gardens and a member of St. Cecelia’s RC Parish. Born August 14, 1928 to Joseph and Mary (Grabowskas) Mishkalunos, Fairview, and attended Memorial High School, West New York, NJ.

She was an office manager at the Mark Ad Agency in New York City. Enrolled into the nursing program at Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck; Bertha opted to marry her true love, then musician, Tony Yanulis who passed in 2009. They were married for over 60 years.

Bertha was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Mishkalunos; sisters Adele Preskienis, Ann Roggenberg, and Mary Christopher; sons Michael Anthony, Anthony Francis, and Joseph Michael Yanulis.

Surviving are brother-in-law John Preskienis; daughters Marianne (Luke) Coyle, Elizabeth, (Robert) Henderson, of OH; daughters-in-law Shari Yanulis and Laura Yanulis of OK and Jennifer Yanulis. Grandchildren, Shannon (John) Devine, Luke (Summer) Coyle of CA, Sara (Kevin) Stearns of OH, Beth (Casey) Cook of OH, Rory (Marissa Pintor) Yanulis of AZ, Jessica Yanulis of AZ, Joe Harley (Jennifer) Yanulis, Brenda (Nate) Graham ,Buck (Rhonda) Yanulis & Dillin (Nikki) Yanulis of OK, Cody Yanulis- PVII U.S. Army and Eric Yanulis; and multiple great-grandchildren.

Visitation Wednesday March 29, 2017 from 8:00am to 9:00am at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Mass to follow 9:30am  at St Helen Church, Edison . Entombment St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
